Job Summary:
Congrutiy360 is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Engineer with deep technical expertise across compute hardware, storage arrays, enterprise virtualization (including Proxmox VE and VMware), container orchestration, and backup infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery, deployment, optimization, and operational continuity of client infrastructure solutions.
You will act as the technical bridge between client requirements and operational execution—ensuring environments are highly available, resilient, recoverable, and compliant with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Congrutiy360 is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Engineer with deep technical expertise across compute hardware, storage arrays, enterprise virtualization (including Proxmox VE and VMware), container orchestration, and backup infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery, deployment, optimization, and operational continuity of client infrastructure solutions.
You will act as the technical bridge between client requirements and operational execution—ensuring environments are highly available, resilient, recoverable, and compliant with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Principal Responsibilities:
Service Delivery & Client Operations
- Manage the technical onboarding, deployment, and day-to-day delivery of client infrastructure environments.
- Ensure strict adherence to customer SLAs, Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Serve as an escalation point (Level 2/3) for complex technical incidents spanning server hardware, storage arrays, hypervisors, and container platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues or major outages and drive permanent remediation efforts.
Virtualization Management (Proxmox VE & Enterprise Hypervisors)
- Administer, tune, and scale open-source and proprietary hypervisors, with a heavy emphasis on Proxmox VE (PVE) and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Manage Proxmox cluster configurations (Corosync quorum, HA manager, storage pools, live migrations, and LXC/QEMU guest deployments).
- Configure and troubleshoot hypervisor storage backends, including ZFS, Ceph hyperconverged storage, and hardware RAID arrays.
- Monitor hypervisor capacity, optimize compute/memory/storage allocations, and manage virtual network topologies (Linux Bridges, Open vSwitch, VLAN tagging).
Enterprise Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
- Design, implement, and maintain backup architecture utilizing Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) alongside enterprise solutions (e.g., Veeam Backup & Replication, Commvault, Zerto).
- Manage deduplication, incremental backups, client-side encryption (AES-256), and remote site synchronization for disaster recovery.
- Execute routine backup verification tests, granular file-level restores, and full-system Disaster Recovery (DR) fire drills.
- Enforce immutability and air-gapped backup policies to protect client environments against ransomware threats.
Servers & Physical Infrastructure
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise rack-mount and blade servers (e.g., Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Cisco UCS).
- Manage hardware lifecycles, firmware updates, and out-of-band management tools (iDRAC, iLO, Console, etc.).
- Oversee operating system installations, configuration management, and hardening across Linux (Debian, RHEL, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Storage Systems & Data Protection
- Provision and manage SAN/NAS storage infrastructure (e.g., NetApp, Dell PowerStore, Pure Storage, ZFS pools).
- Configure storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS) and optimize LUN allocation, FC switch zoning, snapshot retention, and storage tiering.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or service delivery in enterprise environments.
- Virtualization: In-depth knowledge of Proxmox VE (PVE) and/or VMware vSphere in production multi-node cluster configurations.
- Backup & DR: Hands-on expertise with Proxmox Backup Server (PBS), Veeam Backup & Replication, or equivalent enterprise backup systems. Proven track record of managing RTO/RPO requirements.
- Storage & File Systems: Strong understanding of ZFS storage (pools, datasets, ARC tuning, snapshotting), Ceph, and traditional SAN/NAS arrays.
- Compute & OS: Advanced Linux administration skills (Debian, RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server management.
- Containers: Production experience with Kubernetes, LXC containers, or Docker runtime environments.
- ITSM/ITIL: Solid understanding of ITIL workflows (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
- Client-Centric Mindset: Clear communicator capable of explaining technical trade-offs, DR strategies, and operational decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure during high-severity service disruptions or recovery scenarios.
- Collaborative: Comfortable working alongside DevOps, Network, and Security Operations teams.
- Availability: Willingness to participate in an on-call escalation rotation and maintenance windows outside standard business hours.
Education & Preferred Certifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Virtualization: VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
- Backup: Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
- Containers/Cloud: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
- Linux: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) / Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-2)
- Process: ITIL v4 Foundation
